Your Frozen Fantasy Sport Update

Well, things have been underway in the BMR fantasy league for a couple of weeks now, and everyone has had ample time to deal with crushing early season injuries. There's also those slumping disappointments that managers how to decide if they want to try and wait them out or not. I hate to name names, but I'm looking at you, Marian Hossa.

Here's a look at the first BMR fantasy league...

And no, I didn't purposely highlight my own team in the standings. Yahoo! just happens to do that. 11-15-4 is nothing to highlight, either.

The Phoenix Pharts are in the lead, basically pulling a "Minnesota Wild" on the competition. But seriously a 16 point lead after three weeks? That is RIDICULOUS.

In the second fantasy league, things are looking a bit more promising for me.

Two words: Daymond. Langkow. Lucked out big time on that one. To be honest, I'm really glad that I'm not embarrassing myself in both leagues. I was afraid that was going to happen.

I'll update this again in a couple weeks, but in the meantime, good luck to everyone the rest of the way!

  1. It would be really nice for the impostor wearing the "Brodeur" jersey to turn himself into the authorities and reveal where he's hiding the best goaltender to ever play the game.

  2. My Rouges are looking a little mediocre at this point. I need a real breakout week.

  3. Bouwmeester is killing my team (Boddington Drinkers). Man, I hate him.

  4. With that record you are actually tied with me which has to be due to you having Stastny because the rest of your team sucks. :)

Actually, mine is terrible with Norrena in goal. I can't wait for Boyle to get off of IR because I'm sure as hell not getting any other help.

  5. Doing what I can to anchor the second league.

By "anchor," of course, I mean remaining motionless at the very rock bottom.

On the plus side, I have a shot at DOUBLING my win total this week.

    Keep yer fingers crossed.

  6. It's real cool being at the top but I realize just how LOOOOONNNGGG the season is and I'm sure there will be changes throughout the league standings.
Best of luck to all the GM's in the BMR fantasy leagues.
